Approve the videos your creators submit
Turn review on for a campaign, then approve each submitted video, ask for changes or decline it.

What can I do if I don't like an influencer's video of my restaurant?
Turn on content review for the campaign in CreatoRain. Each video a creator submits then waits for your decision: approve it, send it back with a note on what to change, or decline it. Only approved videos are counted in your campaign report. Review is a campaign setting and is off by default; with it off, each video is approved as it arrives. Either way, the creator has already posted the video on their own account when the link reaches you.
Open a video's details and follow its link to the post, or use Approve All for every video one creator has waiting. A video you send back is marked Changes requested, and the creator sees your note with it. In the report, videos waiting for a decision or sent back for changes show as In review but are not counted, and declined videos are left out. Turning review on or off changes only videos submitted after that.
Turn content review on
Review is set per campaign and is off unless you turn it on. Either way, the link a creator submits is to a video already posted on their own account.
Decide on each video
Open a video's details and follow its link to the post, then choose. Approve All approves every video one creator has waiting.
What the report counts
The report counts approved videos only. The rest show as In review, or are left out.
Turn on review and check each video
Content review is a campaign setting, off by default. Turn it on and each video a creator submits waits for your decision. Leave it off and each video is approved as it arrives.
See the video they posted
Open each video a creator submits and follow the link to the post itself. Check it against your brief.
Send it back with a note
Send a video back with a note on what to change. The creator sees it marked Changes requested, with your note.
Only approved videos count
Approved videos are counted in your campaign report. Videos waiting for a decision or sent back for changes show there as In review but are not counted. Decline a video that misses your brief and it is left out.
Approve all
Approve one video from its details, or every video one creator has waiting with Approve All. The same menu declines them all, or sends them all back with one note.
How review works
Creator submits
After posting, the creator submits the link to their video in CreatoRain's app for creators.
You review
Open the video and check it against your brief.
Approve or send back
Approve it, send it back with a note on what to change, or decline it.
Counted in your report
Approved videos are counted in your campaign report. Videos waiting for a decision or sent back for changes show there too, as In review, but are not counted.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to review every video creators submit?
No. In CreatoRain, content review is a campaign setting and is off by default. With it off, each video is approved as it arrives and counted in your campaign report. Ask our team to turn it on, before the campaign starts or later. Each new video then waits for your decision, marked Pending. Turning it on or off changes only videos submitted after that.
Has the creator already posted the video when I review it?
Yes. Creators post on their own accounts, then paste the link to the published video into CreatoRain's app for creators. Review decides whether the video is counted in your campaign report, not whether it is online.
What does the creator see when I send a video back?
The video is marked Changes requested in their CreatoRain app, with your note shown under Feedback; Request Changes can't be sent without a note. The video then stays marked Changes requested, shown as In review in your report and not counted.
Can I review several videos at once?
Yes, one creator at a time. In CreatoRain, Approve All approves every video that creator has waiting for review. The same menu has Decline All, and Request Changes, which sends all of them back with one note. These appear only when content review is on and a video is waiting.
Which videos count in my campaign report?
Approved videos. In CreatoRain, the report's Videos created total counts only them; videos waiting for a decision or sent back for changes show as In review but are not counted, and declined videos are left out. With content review off, each video that arrives is approved, so it is counted.
