How do I track whether a restaurant influencer campaign worked?

CreatoRain keeps one record per creator: their reply to your invitation, the visit they book at one of your locations, whether that booking is confirmed, and the video they submit and whether it is approved. The campaign report counts them for the whole campaign and for each location. Every number in it is counted from what has already happened, never forecast. It does not measure sales, foot traffic or ROI.

Every booking in CreatoRain is tied to the creator and to one of your locations. In the report, locations are ranked by bookings. Each location's row counts the creators in its city or state whose latest reply is sorted as Interested, its confirmed and completed bookings, and the approved videos from creators who booked there and at no other location. If content review is on for the campaign, a video counts once it is approved; if it is off, a video is approved as it arrives.

  1. One creator's record

Each step is recorded against the same creator, from the reply to the video. A booking stays Pending until you confirm it; at a location with auto-confirm on, it is confirmed right away.

  2. The report, by location

The report's Store progress table lists your locations, ranked by bookings (Reservations). A video counts toward a location only when its creator booked there and at no other location. Live means the approved video has been marked as posted.

  3. Counted, never forecast

The report counts replies, bookings and videos recorded in CreatoRain. What has not happened yet counts as zero, and what it cannot know shows as a dash, never as a guess.

What the report counts

Replies, booked visits and approved videos.

  • Booked visits by location

See which creators booked a visit, at which of your locations and when, and whether it is pending, confirmed or completed.

  • Replies and interest

See which invited creators replied and said yes, so you know who is in before anyone books.

  • Videos delivered

Every video a creator submits is listed with its status, so you know what has come in and what is approved. With content review off, a video is approved as it arrives.

  • One record per creator

Each creator's path in one place — invited, replied, booked, delivered — so you know who to invite back.

  • Progress by location

Locations are ranked by bookings, so you can see which locations have creators coming in and which still need attention.

  • Campaign numbers at a glance

The campaign's headline numbers in one place: creators interested, visits booked, videos approved.

How tracking works

  1. Every reply logged

When a creator answers your invitation, the reply is recorded against them, so you see who is interested without reading every thread.

  2. Visits booked through CreatoRain

Visits are booked in CreatoRain, so each booking is tied to a creator and to one of your locations.

  3. Videos submitted

Creators submit their videos, and each one is recorded against the creator who made it. If content review is on for the campaign, a video waits for your approval; if not, it is approved as it arrives.

Frequently asked questions

Does the report show sales, foot traffic or ROI?

No. The report counts what is recorded in CreatoRain: replies, bookings at your locations and videos. It does not measure sales, foot traffic or ROI.

How do I see which location a creator booked?

Creators book their visits in CreatoRain, and each booking names one of your locations. You can see whether a booking is pending, confirmed or completed, and the report counts each location's confirmed and completed bookings.

When does a video count in the report?

When it is approved. In CreatoRain, if content review is on for the campaign, a video counts once it is approved; if review is off, a video is approved as it arrives. A video counts toward a location only when its creator booked there and at no other location.

Is anything in the report an estimate?

No. Every number is counted from something that has already happened in CreatoRain, such as a reply, a booking or a video. Until it happens, the count is zero, and where the report cannot know, it shows a dash, never a guess.
